       Artists Create Original Art
       For the style project I used my own unique ideas in my work to create a drawing of the word "Liebe". Liebe means love in German, just like Robert Indiana made the sculpture of the word "love" in New York. I did use a source of inspiration for this piece of art because I used Robert Indiana's idea of the word love, and made it my own because my neighbor is from Germany and speaks German so that is where I got the idea to use the German word for love.

         Artists Communicate Through Their Work.

         For the color project I painted an ocean with a sunset. This painting is intended to say or make the viewer happy because the ocean and sunset make me happy because I love the beach. The issues I was examining through my artwork was the fact that the details in the waves did not turn out as I planned it on the paper, but it turned out okay because it was a minor detail mistake.This piece of artwork is about me or what I like because I really like to go to the beach and watch the sun set in the distance.

        Artists Take Risks

       For this color project I definitely tried something I was not so sure about and that was the way the sunset looks like it is dripping down into the sky and the sea. When this first happened it was a mistake and I was going to cover it up, but I decided to keep it and incorporate it into my art work. For the color project I was supposed to use any kind of paint I am not very used to using paint, but i learned a lot new techniques for the water color paint and how to mix the specific color shade or tint that you need. For the warm up we did a different type of technique for using the different types of paint each day. That was very helpful for me when I started my color project.

In this close up of my painting you can really see how the drip in the sun really stands out among the ocean and sky.

Blog Post 3

          I did ask another student for feedback during my work in progress. I asked Nory for feedback on how my 2 in 1 project was coming, and if she thought I needed to change anything. Nory's feedback really helped me because she said that i should add word into tree. I used the advice Nory gave me was very helpful although i did not use the text in my work, I did appreciate the advice.
 
           This is the idea I based my work off of. I used my own unique ideas to change the original image because I did not put the text in the tree like this picture I also did not put leaves on the tree.I did use a source of inspiration for this piece of artwork and then combined it with the original image I found because I did not put the leaves on the tree I did also I did not put text in my artwork.
         
   
          For this art project I did try something I wasn't so sure about because I put a sunset behind a tree that didn't have leaves. normally you would see a tree with no leaves in the winter, and a bright sunset in the summer. So I kind of combined the two seasons.I picked a material or technique that I had already known which was colored pencils , but I combined that with learning about burnishing.

Blog Post 2

    My group and I tried something in the the rings project or installation that we weren't so sure about was when we decided to make one big long ring chain.we did pick a material or technique that was new or different over something that was familiar was when we decided to the rings into hearts.

     As my group and I were working we did ask each other for feed back during our work in process we were collaborating on what we should do how long we should make the chains Emma helped us understand important information and inspired us to turn the ordinary rings into the heart shapes and the way we connected the heart rings together was very unique.

   




           The current art and artists helped us because we learned from the artists in the video that you can make on installation with an ordinary object and make it unordinary and unique. My group and I interpreted that and made regular rings and looped them together we also used the stapler and stapled so it would look like a heart. We also made one really long chain that we hung all the way around the room.

         I used my own unique ideas in my work by my use of patterns and designs. I also used my own unique ideas in my work by the colors i choose to use. The bright colors i choose to use brought out the texture and designs i added in my picture. I did have a source of inspiration for this piece of art work then i combined it with my own ideas to make it original by the way I used my initial. I also used a source fro inspiration, then combined it with my own ideas to make it original by the way I separated it into the different sections and added the different designs made it really original.
         I did try something that I was not sure about as part of this project I used the puzzle piece pattern. I also used tried different colors patterns and different color combinations with each other. I did pick a different material or technique that was new or different over something that is very common or familiar by my colors and designs. I also very rarely use sharpies in a big piece of art work because it takes a lot of time and it leaks through the paper, but as I got use to the sharpies it got easier when you color it in little sections.
         I responded to challenges that occurred as I worked because I was coloring in the checkered board pattern, and I colored in the wrong checkered board piece I then fixed that by changing the checkered board pattern. I also responded to challenges that occurred as I worked because when I was out lining the initial I did not do it straight. I fixed that the next time by using a ruler and making the crocked line thicker. My work took an unexpected turn due to a mistake when i messed up my pattern of color in the checkered board pattern.
